Berufliche Bildung im Kontext transnationaler Erwerbskarrieren
In der Berufsbildungsdiskussion ist ein eingeschränktes Verständnis von Mobilität und Migration erkennbar, nach dem sich die „Wanderung“ von Migrant/innen lediglich auf die Herkunfts- und die Ankunftsgesellschaft bezieht. Konsequenzen für eine Arbeitsmarkt- und Berufsbildungspolitik werden ebenfalls nur diskutiert und entwickelt in Bezug auf das „Hier“ und „Dort“. In der neuen wissenschaftlichen Diskussion wird unter dem Stichwort „Transmigration“ darauf hingewiesen, dass sich durch weltweite Migrationsbewegungen neue soziale Verflechtungszusammenhänge herausbilden, die multilokal sind, die die alltagsweltliche Praxis der Menschen sowie die Entwicklung von transnationalen Bildungs- und Erwerbskarrieren bestimmen.
Ziel ist es, anhand konkreter Beispiele aus der Arbeitswelt und Berufsbildung, transnationale Bildungs- und Erwerbskarrieren zu identifizieren und berufsbildungspolitische Initiativen und Konzepte in der Partnerschaft auszutauschen und zu überprüfen sowie entsprechende Empfehlungen für die Praxis sowie für die Berufsbildungspolitik daraus abzuleiten. Im Fokus des fachlichen Austauschs stehen die Anforderungen an einen Kanon von berufsbezogenen, an den Lebenslagen von erwachsenen Lernerinnen und Lerner orientierte Förderangebote sowie entsprechende arbeits- und ausbildungsbegleitende Unterstützungsmaßnahmen, wie z.B. Anpassungs- und Aufstiegsqualifizierungen, Maßnahmen zum berufsbezogenen Fremdsprachenerwerb, Angebote zum e-learning zur Teilhabe an der Informationsgesellschaft etc., um den Erfordernissen auf den Arbeitsmärkten der Aufnahmeländer stand zu halten.
Der europäische Projektverbund wird im Rahmen des Europäischen Programms für lebenslanges Lernen, Leonardo da Vinci “Partnerschaften” durchgeführt.

Vocational Education for Transnational Careers
The vocational training debate shows limited understanding of mobility and migration, relating the “movement” of migrants exclusively to their country of origin and the host country. Similarly, the consequences for labour market and vocational educational policy are discussed and developed only in terms of “here” and “there”. This fails to take account of the new concept of “transmigration”, referring to the fact that worldwide migration movements are creating new multi-local social relationships – these determine the everyday practice of the people and the development of transnational educational and working careers.
The goal is to identify specific transnational education and work careers, to exchange and verify ideas on vocational education initiatives and concepts, and to produce appropriate recommendations for practice and for vocational education policy. The focus of this professional exchange is on the requirements for a range of vocationally oriented promotion requirements aimed at the life situations of adult learners, and corresponding work and educational support measures such as skill building for adaptation and promotion, programmes for vocationally oriented second language learning, e-learning programmes for participation in the information society, etc., in order to keep up with the requirements in the labour markets of the immigration countries.
